We already have a website. Why bother?
Your website, social media and league page all have a job to do. FindMeFootball adds a different route.
Families can start with what they need rather than the name of a club: their postcode, their child’s age group and the day they can play. If your club is already listed, its FindMeFootball page can appear in those results. Claiming it puts you in control of what families see when they open it. It does not replace anything you already use.
What claiming gives your club
The setup is already done. We build club pages from public information, so if yours is here you do not start from scratch. Claim it, correct anything that has changed, and add what families need to know this season.
Post for players whenever you need to. Trials, open days, training sessions and player spots go straight on your club page.
Give families the details they need. Families can search by postcode, age group and match day. Keeping your page current helps them see quickly whether you run the team they are looking for, and gives them the basic answers before they decide whether to contact you.
Need players? Tell families who you are looking for.
Need a goalkeeper? Starting a new team? Have spaces at an open session? Post it from your club page, where families looking for a club can see it. For example:
- Example
Under 12 goalkeeper wanted
- Example

See what families see
A parent can start with their postcode, their child’s age group and the day they can play. FindMeFootball shows matching clubs in the area. From those results they can open your page, see the teams you run and check any current opportunities.
Step 1: Postcode
Where they live
Step 2: Age group and match day
Their child’s age, the day they can play
Step 3: Matching clubs

Step 4: Your club page

What changes when you claim
Before
Public-source listing: not yet claimed by the club
A public-source listing, built from public information, which may be out of date and has no opportunities posted by the club.
After
Managed by the club
A page managed by your club, which you can keep current and use to post trials, open days and player spots whenever something changes.
Everything else your club runs
If the club runs a tournament, list it free and publish fixtures and results on the day. If the club runs coaching sessions or holiday courses, they can go on a free coaching page.
Built from inside grassroots football
FindMeFootball was co-founded by James McCall, a grassroots coach and club welfare officer, after he struggled to find a football team for his own son. The aim is simple: make grassroots football easier for families to find without adding another cost for clubs. Read our story.

Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. Claiming and managing your club page is free, and it will stay free. There is no subscription. Posting opportunities and listing a tournament are free too.
We already have a website. Why use this?
You do not need to replace your website. FindMeFootball gives families another free route to discover your club by postcode, age group and match day, then see whether you run a suitable team or have a current opportunity.
Is this another site we have to keep updated?
It is not a second club website. Keep the details families use to decide whether to get in touch current, mainly age groups, match day and contact, and post an opportunity when you have one.
Who at the club should claim it?
Anyone who helps run the club: a chair, secretary, coach or volunteer. If the role changes hands, pass the page on with everything else.
Someone has already claimed our page.
That happens when more than one volunteer has a go at the same job. Contact us and our team will look at it.
We only need to correct one detail.
Use “Suggest an update” on your club page. Claiming is more useful if the club wants to look after the page itself.
