MPE Football Club was formed in 1970 and says it has been bringing football to children in the Maidstone area for over 50 years. It runs teams from Under 7 to Under 18 with no Under 11 side this season and no Under 17, alongside senior and veteran Saturday and Sunday sides, with weekly youth coaching sessions from age 5 and a junior training group welcoming all children in Reception and Year 1. It holds both Junior and Senior FA Charter Standard status, and says it prides itself on being a well organised club providing competitive football for all ages but with an emphasis on enjoyment, not just success. Most of its age groups run two separate teams. Its sides play across several venues around Maidstone.
