Grassroots club
Bearsted FC
Bearsted FC was formed in 1895 and describes itself as one of the oldest clubs in Kent, playing at Honey Lane in Otham near Maidstone. It runs around 30 junior teams alongside its senior and Under 23 sides, and its youth teams play in the Kent Youth League. Its own answer to a parent asking how a child over 6 can join is that any spaces or trials that become available are advertised on the club's social media channels, and that a team manager can be contacted directly about availability. It also runs a Bear Cubs group for 3 to 6 year olds.
